Women Takeover Mondays [Palesa Mvumvu vs Lihle Mbata]

This is a mans Monday... But what would it be without a woman? I thought we should give the men a little time out and look at two smart, hard working and visually appealing ladies making waves in the modelling world...

Both these ladies are gorgeous but which beauty has you wanting to know and see more? Which personality stands out?

  • Who is Lihle Mbata?

A student of life, I’m very a very versatile person with lots of different interests. I love life, my family and friends. I have big dreams and goals for my life, some of which have already come true. I have persevered and broken the mould a lot in my life and gone beyond what people have expected of me.

  • Who is Palesa Mvumvu?

she is vibrant, fun loving yet unpredictable. Loves working out, helping others and is a God fearing, faith filled young lady.

Where have we seen you?

Lihle: My magazine appearances have included True Love(multiple), Cosmopolitan, Cleo, Destiny, Destiny Man, Bride&Co, Elle, Men’s Health, Soul and Seventeen.

Tv commercials have included Jet jeans, Discom campaign, Face of Geen&Richards, Jet cardigans, Legit. I was also in the 1st and 2nd seasons of Deal or No Deal South Africa. I have also done South African Fashion Week a few times.lihle_big

PalesaMostly in editorials for True Love and Move magazine. I’m relatively new to the business

  • As a child you…?

Palesa: played in the streets from 8am till 8pm kind of like a full time job without the pay

  • Friends would say that you are…?

Lihle: Brutally honest, I find it very difficult to pretend and when I have an opinion about something I need to express it.

  • You would never…?

Palesa: say never, life is a big mystery you never know what u may find yourself doing

  • People say you look like?

Lihle: Locally people always confuse me with Lerato Moloi (the model not the actress) and internationally people often say I look like Kelly Rowland and Gabrielle Union.

  • You are interested in men who…

Palesa: are respectful, well rounded and  spontaneous, (I’m easily bored) throw in a great body , good looks and u’ve got a deal

Lihle: I like a strong, kind, smart, caring man with a sense of humour who’s also a gentleman.  I like a man who can challenge me mentally, who’s  well-travelled and sophisticated and of course a man who will take care of me and my heart.

  • Your ideal date involves?

Lihle: I think that dates should be as relaxed as possible which makes it so much easier for two people to get to know each other. My ideal date would be dinner by the pool, with candles and flowers and the sound of the water in the background and most importantly my special somebody sitting across from me.

  • On a Saturday night one would most likely find you…

Palesa: on my couch watching movies I’m pretty laid back, some may call it boring (2 each his own right)

  • If you were a meal you would be…

Lihle: Lol... I would probably be a seafood dish. I love prawns and sushi.

Palesa: uhmmm a Kauai princess wrap.

  • What are some of the things that people don’t generally know about you?

Palesa: I cringe at the simplest things like someone chewing with their mouths open. I have a weird sense of humour and I love watching different sports.

Lihle: A lot of my family and friends would be shocked to hear this but I’m a big crier. I cry when I’m sad, when I’m feeling lonely and disappointed, I cry during sad movies, I cry when someone has hurt my feelings, I cry when my life feels like it’s been turned upside down.
